  • Band Camp - Camp Woodland Hills:

    • Aug 8: Arrive at 7:30 am - buses leave at 8:15 am

    • Aug 11: Return around 3:00 pm

  • Post-camp 3:

    • August 13: 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

    • August 15: 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

  • Nominal rehearsal schedule begins August 19 (see calendar below for the most up-to-date times):

  • Parkway South Media Day

    • August 24 - Varsity Football Field - pictures at 10:40 am.

      • Arrive 9:40 am - 10:15 am to get into their Patriot Uniform.

      • Come to school with a shirt to wear under the uniform, black socks and band shoes if you have them. If you don’t have marching shoes yet, wear something all black on your feet!

      • Color Guard will also need to wear the Patriot Uniform. I would recommend all black for the guard feet also.

  • Open House - Thursday, August 29:

    • 5:00-8:00

    • Wear your Becoming the Tin Man show shirt and normal shoes for rehearsal.

  • Manchester Homecoming Parade:

    • Saturday, Sept. 7

    • Wear Parkway South Pep Band shirts and a bandana around your neck. Cowboy/John Deere hats are encouraged.

    • Arrival around 9:00 am., the parade starts at 10:00 am and finishes around 11:00-11:30.

  • Home Football game schedule:

    • Aug. 30 (vs. Parkway Central)

    • Sep. 13 (vs. Webster Groves)

    • Sep. 27 (Homecoming - vs. Northwest)

    • Oct. 5 (Saturday game - we will perform at the Rock Bridge Marching Festival instead)

      • 8:45 am: Pit personnel prepare loading

      • 9:00 am: Everyone else arrive

      • 10-00 am - 11:15 am: Travel to Park Hills

      • 1:45 pm: Performance (Parkway West: 2:15 pm - Parkway Central: 2:45 pm)

      • 4:15 pm: Preliminary awards

      • If we don’t make finals, leave between 5:15 pm - 6:00 pm - arrive back 6:30 pm - 7:15 pm.

      • If we do make finals, perform again.

      • 8:45 pm: Finals awards. Leave 9:15 pm - 10:00 pm - arrive back 10:30 pm - 11:15 pm.

Initial paper forms (given to students June 11 - due June 14):

  • Cover sheet (including acknowledgement of 2024-2025 Electronic Information Packet information)

Volunteer/Chaperone Background Check:

  • Begin process July 1 - this process can take up to a month allowing 5 weeks until Camp Woodland Hills.

  • There are two online training courses that need to be completed each year. However, these will not be available until August 5. All Camp Woodland Hills chaperones will need to complete this training in this short time.

Privit dates:

  • July 1: All physicals must be after this date to be applied to 2024

  • July 29: Privit account cleared (including student physical)

    • Required for participation in Pre-camp 2

  • Note: there is no Parkway South Privit day in the Commons this year as there has been in previous years.

Initial payment (August 2):

  • Initial payment of band fees

Volunteer/Chaperone Training (Due August 5-8):

  • Two online courses need to completed before Camp Woodland Hills begins.

Glove and shoe order form:
